קונקט אי.אל מהווה פלטפורמה לפעילות חברתית, חינוכית וערכית עבור ישראלים בניו יורק בהתאם לערכים דמוקרטיים וליברליים. מטרת הקבוצה הינה לאפשר לישראלים להישאר מעורבים ומחוברים לחברה הישראלית ולישראלים בישראל, להוות גשר בין ישראל לקהילה היהודית באמריקה וחיזוקה של הקהילה היהודית העולמית. קונקט אי.אל היא קהילה. אנו מאמינים שכשאנחנו פועלים ויוצרים ביחד אנו חזקים יותר, ומסוגלים להשפיע.

מייסדי הקבוצה הם ישראלים מקומיים אשר מגיעים מרקעים שונים, והמשותף לכולם היא הדאגה העמוקה לאופיה של מדינת ישראל כמדינה דמוקרטית והרצון לשמר את הזיקה למדינה.

נשמח לסייע להקמה של קבוצות Connect IL בערים נוספות בארה"ב על מנת לתת קול חזק וגאה לישראלים החיים באמריקה המעוניינים בחיזוק הקשר שלהם עם הנעשה בישראל!

 

WHO WE ARE

CONNECT IL was founded in 2018 by a group of Israelis who live in New York and care deeply about preserving the values of Israel as an equal and democratic state. 

Our goal is to allow Israelis who live abroad to stay involved and connected to Israeli society, to build a bridge between the Jewish community in the United States and Israel, and strengthen the Jewish community across the world. 

The group provides a platform for social and educational ​​activities for Israelis in New York and includes learning alongside activism in the form of meetings, campaigns, paper publications and more.

CONNECT IL is a community. We believe that when we work together we are stronger, and able to create a positive impact in Israel and abroad. 

We are happy to help establish additional groups of Connect IL in cities across the United States, to support Israelis who live abroad and provide them with a platform to make their voices heard.

 

 OUR GOALS

• Connect IL aims to create a local community of Israelis who live abroad, care deeply about the future of Israel and wish to preserve its values as a democratic state. We wish to build a community that shares the same liberal values and make their voices heard.

• Become the leading social and educational platform for liberal and progressive Israelis abroad who are interested to surface different issues concerning the reality of Israelis and Israelis living overseas through liberal lenses.

• Bridge the gap between Israelis living abroad and the local Jewish communities in the United States and beyond.

• Encourage local Israelis to get involved in the international Jewish arena and its institutions. 

​​

• Strengthen our skills and abilities to support Israel as a democratic and progressive state.

• Expand our community over-time and create a sustainable organization that will remain relevant over time for the Israeli immigrants community.
